Chuck says: Troubled Times was first conceived as a short story. After writing the first few pages, though, I figured it would work better with a visual medium. I knew it was going to be a fairly epic, serious story, and I also knew I didn't have the sort of artistic ability to pull it off. Hence, a collaborative effort. Adam says: By date of drawing this page and the following two are rougly 5-6 months older than page 4. This set up a whole set of problems when it came to getting used to drawing the characters again when we started posting them. It's kind of like riding a bike. You may not forget how, but you'll probably still fall down a few times before you get the hang of it. Either way, I like most of this page. Its so very dramatic. And it covered almost a whole paragraph of the script. Not quite, though.
