Chuck says: Earl does get to be a bit of a smartass here, and we can see a bit of his Crooked Halo character shining through. The reparte between the Archangel and Evan was fun to write, and you get more of it as the chapter goes on. Probably too much of it, actually. Adam says: I went cheap on the backgrounds pretty much from here on out because I'd already established a location, but I hated the location I'd established. However, the page is probably better for it. The characters, for the most part look good, though Sidney does look a bit wooden, so I guess I'd say this starts an upswing for the art.
