About halfway through the summer Clif and I spent in Yellowstone, I got transferred from busser to prep cook. It was a nice move for me--I didn't have to worry about my speed as much, I didn't have to put up with the tourists, the hours were much more regular (like I worked the same shift every day), and I got three days off per week instead of only two. Hence, Earl's gonna be a prep cook for a while. And his previous cooking experience was back in the Iron Chef Challenge, wherein the Archangel did culinary battle with Tim Tation. I'm pleased with the way this comic looks, except for Andrea's arms in the third panel--that arm on the right was just too damn short, because I didn't plan that right. That's why we do pencils before inks, boys and girls--or at least, that's why competent artists do pencils first.
