I enjoy this comic (and the one that follows it) because it gives me an opportunity to do something I don't normally get to do--let Simon have a little fun. See, I've kinda written him as the straightman, the normal guy around whom all the craziness occurs, the only sane one of the bunch. The comic needs that, of course, but it means Simon probably comes across as one of the least-interesting characters in the comic sometimes. But Simon does have a sense of humor, and occasionally he likes to fire back at the lunatics who make his life so difficult.
