Okay, semi-true story here. See, I was helping a couple of my friends get music together for their wedding (which happened the day after this comic ran). One of the songs she wanted was this Barbara Streisand song. So I'm sitting there listening to it, making sure the version I downloaded was okay fidelity-wise, and it hits me--I'm listening to Barbara Freakin' Streisand. Probably about the most un-masculine thing a guy can do. This comic was the result.
